Lady Jerry Belton
Lady Belton has used Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths;” over the years to guide her life as a Christian.
At the age of twenty-two, Lady Belton received Christ in her life and became a member of the Bible Way Church of Atlas Road. During her time there she was joined in marriage to an amazing husband, Bishop Roy L. Belton. When her husband became pastor of the Bible Way Church of Piedmont Avenue, she felt tremendously honored to assist him in ministry on the local, state, and national levels.

She is a native of Lamar, South Carolina, where she attended and graduated from Spaulding High School. She furthered her education at Benedict College, earning degrees in Business Education and Early Childhood Education. In addition, she broadened her studies and received a Master of Education degree from Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a retired Early Childhood educator, who has taught for 28 years.
Over the past two years she has served on the Palmetto Senior Care Adult Advisory Board. She has also enjoyed volunteering at Christ Central Ministries.
The joy of her life is spending time with her gifted children and adorable grandchildren. Her home is filled with eating, singing, joking, laughing and praying when they all visit. During her leisure time she enjoys singing, listening to music, reading and writing.
